If your device is running iOS 7, here is how to disable the Find My iPhone feature;

Pass 1: Open Settings on your device and tap on “iCloud”.

Pass 2: At the bottom of the iCloud settings page, click on “Delete Account” and then tap “Delete” again. A popup will appear asking you to enter your iCloud password.

Pass 3: Hold the power button to turn off the iPhone.
